Shipping & Returns Policies

All our contact lens prices include free shipping to any where in New Zealand, taking any nasty surprises out of that final last screen on the check out!

Yes we ship to Australia - as you get to check out and select Australia and GST will be removed from final price (15% discount).  Then select your shipping options.  Remember you are purchasing NZ dollars (another 21% discount!).

REMEMBER, couriers deliver packages during the working day, so think what address is best for your delivery.  If no-one is home, the courier will leave it on the doorstep/mail box or if it is a signature only delivery and no-one is at the address, a card will be left saying that you will have to collect it from the depot.  Would your work address be better or that of a family member?

Please note:  We use either Courier Post or NZ couriers for deliveries.  We usually do not dispatch requesting signature on delivery but there are times when this happens.  If you have specific requests for delivery, please advise before, or at the time of ordering.  Any questions, please email us prior and we can advise which delivery method for you order will work best.

Delivery

Once the seller has confirmed acceptance of the buyer's order, the seller will endeavor to dispatch the buyer's order within 3-7 business days unless a different time frame is specified in relation to a particular product. If the seller is unable to dispatch the buyer's order within the time frame specified the seller will endeavor to contact the buyer and advise the buyer of the expected dispatch date.
The seller reserves the right to dispatch the buyer's order in one delivery or by installments. Failure to deliver any installment shall not entitle the buyer to repudiate the contract as to any installments already delivered. The buyer may cancel any undelivered installments up until the installment is confirmed.

Any quotations of delivery times by the seller are made in good faith but are estimates and the seller shall not be bound by such quotation and the seller will not be liable for any loss, expense, or other damage caused by any delay in delivery.

The buyer may specify delivery instructions for an order (for example, the buyer may authorise the delivery agent to leave the products in a specified location if the buyer will not be at the delivery address). The seller will not be responsible for any order that is delivered in accordance with the buyers delivery instructions.
New Zealand law requires all international packages to have attached customs documentation, which describes the goods being sent and their cost.

Returns Policy

Goods supplied in accordance with the buyer's order can only be returned with the express approval of the seller.

  1. Requests to return goods must be submitted within 10 days from the date of shipping and the original invoice number must be quoted.
  2. Where goods are accepted (for credit or refund at the sellers discretion) they must be delivered at the buyer's expense into the seller's store or warehouse in original condition and packaging.  Once product is opened, it is the property of the buyer.   Returned products are the buyer's responsibility until they reach the seller. The seller shall not be responsible for misdirected shipments or products lost or damaged in transit.
  3. The seller reserves the right to levy a restocking fee against any returns the seller may agree to accept. Such fees may be up to 15% of the invoice priced and levied at the seller's absolute discretion.
  4. Any refunds (at the sellers discretion) will be refunded in the form of the original payment method used by the buyer.

Contact lens packaging as thin as a credit card ???

Yes you read correct - the new Miru 1-day disposable contact lenses by Menicon come in these amazing flat packs that are 1mm in thickness.  On opening the lens is presented to you with the outer surface facing upwards.  This minimises the risk of skin oils and micro-organisms becoming trapped between the lens and your eye, compared to conventional lenses.   Read More...
